GRILLO gives lecture at Wiesenhof symposium on the reduction of ammonia emissions
Daniel Tepper, our Head of Project Animal Care, presented the solution for reducing ammonia emissions at the Wiesenhof symposium at the end of February: GRILLO ImproBed.
Many farmers in Germany are facing the challenge of meeting increasing requirements for animal welfare as well as environmental and consumer protection while remaining competitive. welfare as well as environmental and consumer protection while remaining competitive. One example of the stricter requirements is the new Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft), which will be introduced in 2021 and stipulate stricter requirements for reducing ammonia emissions.
Daniel Tepper, our Head of Project Animal Care, presented the solution at the symposium at the end of February: GRILLO ImproBed – an innovative and sustainable bedding solution developed specifically for the requirements of modern poultry farming. By specifically reducing the pH value, ImproBed effectively minimizes the formation of ammonia and thus makes a decisive contribution to reducing ammonia emissions.
