ImproBed is an indoor measure to reduce ammonia immissions and emissions and offers an economical and ecological solution for humans and animals.

Positive for footpad health

ImproBed was developed to support the health of animals’ footpads.

Low pH value

ImproBed has a low pH value, which means that microbial activity is inhibited and there is no formation of ammonia, resulting in a better and healthier environment for the animals.

Reduction of microbiological activity

The low pH creates an environment that is unfavourable for pathogenic germs. This promotes a healthy environment for the animal, especially in the first days and weeks.

Easy handling

Our ImproBed is easy to handle and use and can be applied in the barn by the user or farmer using standard spreading machines.

Increased fertiliser value

ImproBed increases the fertiliser value in the manure by increasing the sulphur content in the bedding. This can be an advantage for farmers who use manure as fertiliser for their fields.

Low CO2 footprint

ImproBed supports more sustainable livestock farming by reducing the CO2 footprint.

GRILLO’s ImproBed is an innovative and sustainable bedding solution, specially developed for the requirements of modern poultry farming. By specifically reducing the pH value, Improbed effectively minimises the formation of ammonia and thus makes a decisive contribution to reducing ammonia emissions. This progressive approach improves the quality of the air inside the barn and thus promotes the health of the poultry. Improbed also contributes to the health of the foot pads, which is an important aspect of poultry farming.
