Reduction of ammonia immissions & emissions
Improbed is an indoor measure to reduce ammonia immissions and emissions and offers an economical and ecological solution for humans and animals.
Positive for footpad health
Improbed was developed to support footpad health for poultry.
Low pH value
Improbed has a low pH, which means that microbial activity is inhibited and there is no formation of ammonia, resulting in a better and healthier environment for the animals.
Reduction of microbiological activity
The low pH creates an environment that is unfavourable for pathogenic germs. This promotes a healthy environment for the animal, especially in the first days and weeks.
Easy handling
Our Improbed is easy to handle and the farmer can apply the pellets in the poultry house with customary spreading machines.
Increased fertiliser value
Improbed increases the fertiliser value in manure by increasing the sulphur content in the litter. This can be beneficial to farmers who use manure as fertiliser for their fields.
Low CO2 footprint
Improbed supports more sustainable livestock breeding by reducing the CO2 footprint.

What is GRILLO Improbed?

GRILLO’s Improbed is an innovative and sustainable litter solution, developed specifically for the requirements of modern poultry farming. Improbed effectively minimises the formation of ammonia by targeted reduction of the pH and thus contributes decisively to the reduction of ammonia emissions. This advanced approach improves the quality of the indoor air in the poultry house and thus promotes the health of the birds. Improbed also contributes to the health of the footpads, which is an important aspect in poultry farming.
