Sulphuric acid and oleum production has undergone cradle-to-gate certification in accordance with ISO 14067. Specific CO2 emissions have been determined and can be made available to our customers with certified, recognised certificates. Due to modern production processes, these are at a very low level.

What is oleum?

Oleum is sulphuric acid with excess sulphur trioxide, hence it is also called fuming sulphuric acid.

Oleum is primarily used in the chemical-technical industry, for example in the manufacture of organic intermediates, in the chemical fibre industry, for the concentration of sulphuric acids using a cycle process, and in the manufacture of liquid sulphur trioxid.
