What is a sodium bromide solution?

Sodium bromide solution is a colourless liquid with a bromide content of approx. 10%. GRILLO-Werke AG has developed a process that can convert bromine impurities in various waste and product streams into non-critical bromide. GRILLO bromine reduction is a new, patented process that has already proven itself in industrial use at the Duisburg site. In this process, the valuable element bromine that is difficult to handle can be recovered and reused, for example, as a raw material for flame retardants.
