Sodium bromide solution

GRILLO’s sodium bromide solution is a versatile chemical compound used as a raw material in various industries.

The advantages of
GRILLO sodium bromide solution

Supporting circular economy

The sodium bromide solution produced is a by-product of the purification of recycled raw materials. We enable reuse of important raw materials such as bromine for the sake of circular economy.

Fast delivery & availability

We ensure fast and efficient delivery of the sodium bromide solution so as not to disrupt the customers’ production processes.

Application areas of
GRILLO sodium bromide solution

Chemical industry

Sodium bromide solution serves as a starting material for the synthesis of bromine compounds needed in various chemical processes.

Our product range

Our sodium bromide solution is supplied exclusively in road tankers.

What is a sodium bromide solution?

Sodium bromide solution is a colourless liquid with a bromide content of approx. 10%. GRILLO-Werke AG has developed a process that can convert bromine impurities in various waste and product streams into non-critical bromide. GRILLO bromine reduction is a new, patented process that has already proven itself in industrial use at the Duisburg site. In this process, the valuable element bromine that is difficult to handle can be recovered and reused, for example, as a raw material for flame retardants.
