Corrosion protection of steel bridges

Corrosion protection for steel bridges is crucial for planning, new construction, and maintaining infrastructure. Many structures are damaged by weathering and outdated protection systems. Traditional coatings offer only limited protection. Thermal spraying with zinc or zinc-aluminum is a durable alternative—compliant with standards, more environmentally friendly, and offering protection lasting up to 100 years.

Our products dimethyl sulphate ECO (DMS) and GRILLO-one Green dimethyl ether (DME) manufactured at the Frankfurt-Höchst site have now been certified in accordance with the REDcert² standard for biomass-balanced products in the chemical industry for the third time in a row.
