Focus on the value chain: Zinc College in India
As part of the Zinc College organized by IZA, our Sustainable Development Officer, Dr Bastian Bach, is currently on site at the Zinc College in India.
Every two years, the International Zinc Association organizes this important event in partnership with a member company and offers all participants a comprehensive programme with a variety of different courses.
On site, together with participants from zinc processing companies, he examines our value chain in detail. The discussions during the Zinc College will focus on topics such as recycling, the contribution of zinc to an all-electric society, the general protective properties of zinc and the longevity of products using zinc, for example for corrosion protection. However, the program offers not only specialist knowledge, but also valuable networking opportunities and practical applications that are directly related to the zinc industry. All in all, the Zinc College offers not only a great deal of specialist knowledge but also many valuable experiences for future-oriented solutions in the zinc industry.
