Application
Sulphur dioxide is mainly used in the chemical industry (e.g. sulphonation), in the manufacture of pulp and paper, and as a preservative in the food and beverage industry.

Sulphur dioxide is shipped in
• Compressed gas rail tank cars of 15-64 t
• ISO tank containers of 5-25 t
• Compressed gas barrels of 550 kg or 1,100 kg
• Compressed gas bottles of 2 kg to 100 kg
