Whether as corrosion protection, as a connecting part in the construction industry, as a safety-relevant component in the automotive industry or in organ building for the production of pipes: Thanks to individual development and production, our zinc strips are precisely tailored to your requirements and impress with their high quality and durability.

The versatile special zinc-based strip

Our zinc strips and sheets are manufactured exclusively from high-purity electrolytic fine zinc (Zn 99.995% according to DIN EN 1179 – “Z1”). We fulfil special customer requests by continuing to develop the alloy qualities and material properties.

GRILLO zinc strip

Energy Solutions

The GRILLO zinc strip is used in the production of rechargeable zinc-batteries.

Corrosion protection

Zinc strip is used as corrosion protection in the automotive industry. Especially for stamped parts that are difficult to access, such as between the hinge and the car door. In the pipeline industry it is wrapped around the pipe as protection.

Construction industry

Various shaped parts made of zinc strip are used in the construction industry. These range from connecting parts for roof drainage to substitutes for lead applications in the form of molding zinc or soft zinc, thus ensuring a lead-free transition from dormer to tile.

Maritime industry

Zinc is used in the maritime industry as a material for corrosion protection articles, i.e. anodes.

Automotive industry

Zinc strip is used in the automotive industry for electrical applications, more precisely for the production of plug-in fuses.

Electronics industry

GRILLO zinc strip is suitable as a soldering material for the electronics industry.

Organbuilding

Due to the excellent forming properties and the optimal sound behaviour, GRILLO zinc strips and sheets are also used for the production of organ pipes.

Paper & printing industry

GRILLO zinc strip is used for the production of Braille matrices. It is used as negative printing plate,
