Our sustainable protection for reinforced concrete structures

Our globally patented corrosion protection system GRILLO-KKS-Beton is a cathodic corrosion protection that provides long-term protection for reinforced concrete. With cathodic protection of a zinc layer applied by thermal spraying, damaged but still functional reinforced concrete can be sustainably improved and permanently protected.

Sustainable protection of reinforced concrete structures with GRILLO-KKS-Beton

Reinforced concrete structures such as car parks and bridges are susceptible to corrosion-related damage, which can be caused by chloride loads from de-icing salts, for example. If chlorides penetrate the concrete, this can lead to loss of structural integrity due to corrosion on the reinforcement, resulting in expensive repair work in the long term.

The solution: KKS-Beton from GRILLO. With the thermally sprayed zinc anode on reinforced concrete in combination with an organic top coating, GRILLO-KKS-Beton can neutralise the chlorides that have penetrated the concrete and thus protect the reinforcement from rusting. In addition to our innovative technology, we supply extensive expertise and mechanical engineering to ensure successful application of the GRILLO-KKS-Beton system.
